- DOUBLE COINS – Claim to double/triple your money, sometimes with a ‘cheat code’ in 2 separate trades. You are asked to put the amount of money you want doubled, and to check off AGREE first. Once they get your money, they may kick you and run off with your coins. If what they claim is true, then they should be able to double your coins in ONE trade.
NOTE: DO NOT CHECK OFF AGREE UNTIL YOU SEE THE ITEM/COINS AGREED
UPON IN TRADE BOX.
- VIP – VIP STATUS IS NOT AVAILABLE, IT IS COMING SOON. Users will try to sell VIP cards/passes/tickets. Scammers have tried to pass of blue towels as VIP passes. The VIP areas (Sky Nightclub, Furniture Store) are still under construction. VIP robes and pink hair were accidentally released for a short time. A few lucky YoVillians got their hands on these items.
NOTE: YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED WHEN VIP BECOMES AVAILABLE. WHEN YOU
SIGN IN TO YOVILLE, AN ANNOUNCEMENT WINDOW POPS UP INFORMING YOU
OF NEW ITEMS OR ANY CHANGES.
- RATE AND GET PAID- Events may read “Rate and get 10coins”, “Rate, get a prize”. Once you give the owner a thumbs up, and ask for your coins or prize, owner will KICK YOU OUT.
- CHEAT CODES- There are no cheat codes. Cheat codes that claim to give you unlimited coins, speed or energy.
- CLONE ITEMS- Cloning tricks that claim to clone your items, thereby giving you more and more of any given item.
- PAGEANTS- There are fees for participating ($10, $25, $100 or even more). Participants beware, that the host could have a friend in the room that may have been selected as the winner ahead of time.
- NEW USERS ONLY- new YoVillians are lured into these events thinking that they will be given information, tips or instructions about the game. The owner will try to sell VIP tickets, double your coins or sell cheat codes.
- FREE STUFF/LEAVING YOVILLE- Once in their apartment, the owner is nowhere to be found.
- 50 PEOPLE IN YOUR APARTMENT, AND GET 5000 COINS- There is no reward for having “x” amount of people in your apartment.

- WHEN TRADING, REMEMBER TO CHECK THE DESCRIPTION OF THE ITEM TO MAKE SURE IT IS WHAT YOU ASKED FOR. YOU MAY CHECK BY HOVERING YOUR CURSOR OVER THE ITEM IN THE TRADE WINDOW. A POP-UP WILL APPEAR WITH THE ITEMS DESCRIPTION.
- ON RARE OCCASIONS, PEOPLE DO DOUBLE COINS, DO GIVE YOU COINS FOR RATING, HOLD LEGITIMATE PAGEANTS.
- CHECK THE ROOM RATING OR THE MESSAGE BOARD FOR ANY INDICATIONS OF DISHONESTY.

i saw a girl named ( Nancy) wearing a pink dress i said ill trade you some stuff. she said ok. so she came to my room, then she said id rather give you a code to yocash and i said YES!!! she said you have to give me a outfit first so i gave her: megan easter blue jacket, blue skinny jeans, and autum boots. she said il take it. then we traded thats when it started. i gave her the following items then she gave me 10 coins and took all those clothes and said hahahaha i scamed you. i tryed to say i need my money back she said no. I made an event to buy a white board for 1.5k (1,500coins) and a guy cam and he traded me, I put in 1,500coins and he put it a "White Room Boarder" and I never saw what a White Board looked like so I agreed and he ran off with my money and left me with something that only cost 50coins in stores :/ Just wanted to share my story with everyone. Don't fall for the trick!

I think u may b talking about a sortta trust building scam i had some one bring me 2 their house then say put 100c in trade so i did then they trade again and gave me 200c then they said put in 1k so i did and they trade a second time and put in 2k then they said put in all ur coins then i will trade u back double so i left and they lost 1.1k all of her nake i can remember is the last part brownie she was trying to build my trust

Actually, today while I was looking around in Yoville, I needed to fix something so i went onto the options button. I saw that you can change names! D: That means scammers could change their names and they won't be caught. :(
