Halloween Costumes Out!
07/10/2008 08:47YVL-Mari attended the Halloween costumes strike and release and came back with this report:
Around 9PM (Eastern Time) YoVille started freezing up and acting up really slow for many people. YoVille came back and NO SIGN of costumes.
Then someone ( KIWI) on the message board began getting people together for a protest. Many YoVillians met in front of the clothing store protesting they wanted the Halloween Costumes NOW! Pink Ninja showed up on a costume during the protest. She started asking ... "What is it that you want?" and the crowd would scream in big letters "HALLOWEEN COSTUMES NOW!!!" People outside and inside the store protesting.
After almost half hour of protest we begin seeing guys in the store dressed as pirates. The first costume to come out for sale for 1000 coins!
I'm almost sure my Tom was like the second or third guy who bought a Pirate costume. The girl costumes came out a few minutes later. The first costume came out at 10:15 PM (Eastern time)
It does say costumes will expire at the end of the month.

hello there yoville admin, why its unfair to us to get worn out our costumes on this NOV1??? after we buy????? I hope its collectibles or somethings clothes costume that never been worn out or gone,its so unfair to us and especially the cost of the costume and the waste of our money if ever it will expired pls refund our money its so unfair to us and you know its very hard to earn coins to get this I do hope hear form you and the request for the costume its not gone :( we really love this costume and even me keep it rthis but its so unfair to be gone :( thanks

OMGosh! I KNOW...they're sooooooo EXPENSIVE! and then to hear they'll yank them from our closets on Nov 1st?!!?! Thats so upsetting! What a rip off!! LITERALLY!! They'll rip em off your body if ur wearing them on Nov 1st! I cant believe this is what i was so excited for! Im gonna spend 4000 on a costume just to have it taken back after halloween?!?! Shame on you YoVille developers!!!

Hi.. i bought a set of costume, somebody told me it will last til Nov 1. Does this mean that it will disappear in the market on that date? Or it will disappear from our own closet/inventory/account? What ever you call that. Or it will stay in there forever so we can use it the next HOLLOWEN. Its too expensive, and we can just have it for a month.
Please reply soon. SOME of my buddies are already protesting.

YoVille is such a rip off for someone who buys coins. They say it is free but when you buy coins because the dev's make stuff so expensive and then they tell you it expires? I was online when they hit the shelves so I didnt even get the message until after purchase. And then you see all these people making a killing off of VIP robes and VIP letterman jackets that are not available to everyone.
The devs are a bunch of ripoff artista and so is YVL for going along with it!

Before kiwi reposted the protest I myself had started it on the default server unfortunatly on 6 of us were there including kiwi she offered to repost but in all of this i didnt even get a pic of myself up on here and that is a shame my 15 minutes of fame grew quickly to an end boo hoo
