Elektronika's TOP TRAPS List
- DOUBLE COINS – Claim to double/triple your money, sometimes with a ‘cheat code’ in 2 separate trades. You are asked to put the amount of money you want doubled, and to check off AGREE first. Once they get your money, they may kick you and run off with your coins. If what they claim is true, then they should be able to double your coins in ONE trade.
NOTE: DO NOT CHECK OFF AGREE UNTIL YOU SEE THE ITEM/COINS AGREED
UPON IN TRADE BOX.
- VIP – VIP STATUS IS NOT AVAILABLE, IT IS COMING SOON. Users will try to sell VIP cards/passes/tickets. Scammers have tried to pass of blue towels as VIP passes. The VIP areas (Sky Nightclub, Furniture Store) are still under construction. VIP robes and pink hair were accidentally released for a short time. A few lucky YoVillians got their hands on these items.
NOTE: YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED WHEN VIP BECOMES AVAILABLE. WHEN YOU
SIGN IN TO YOVILLE, AN ANNOUNCEMENT WINDOW POPS UP INFORMING YOU
OF NEW ITEMS OR ANY CHANGES.
- RATE AND GET PAID- Events may read “Rate and get 10coins”, “Rate, get a prize”. Once you give the owner a thumbs up, and ask for your coins or prize, owner will KICK YOU OUT.
- CHEAT CODES- There are no cheat codes. Cheat codes that claim to give you unlimited coins, speed or energy.
- CLONE ITEMS- Cloning tricks that claim to clone your items, thereby giving you more and more of any given item.
- PAGEANTS- There are fees for participating ($10, $25, $100 or even more). Participants beware, that the host could have a friend in the room that may have been selected as the winner ahead of time.
- NEW USERS ONLY- new YoVillians are lured into these events thinking that they will be given information, tips or instructions about the game. The owner will try to sell VIP tickets, double your coins or sell cheat codes.
- FREE STUFF/LEAVING YOVILLE- Once in their apartment, the owner is nowhere to be found.
- 50 PEOPLE IN YOUR APARTMENT, AND GET 5000 COINS- There is no reward for having “x” amount of people in your apartment.
NOTE:
- WHEN TRADING, REMEMBER TO CHECK THE DESCRIPTION OF THE ITEM TO MAKE SURE IT IS WHAT YOU ASKED FOR. YOU MAY CHECK BY HOVERING YOUR CURSOR OVER THE ITEM IN THE TRADE WINDOW. A POP-UP WILL APPEAR WITH THE ITEMS DESCRIPTION.
- ON RARE OCCASIONS, PEOPLE DO DOUBLE COINS, DO GIVE YOU COINS FOR RATING, HOLD LEGITIMATE PAGEANTS.
- CHECK THE ROOM RATING OR THE MESSAGE BOARD FOR ANY INDICATIONS OF DISHONESTY.

This girl Christine tries to sell a large lava for 800 and when u say you want it she does the trade and when she puts the item in the box it show as a small one when i click off to tell her it says small she kiks me out of her apartment so i changed my name and the way i looked and went back and she did it again so everyone be on the look out for this person Christine or someone trying to sell large or exlarge lava they will try to sell you a small one i never bought it but they will try to sell it to you and when you complain they kik u out so what i did the second time i went back i had the chance to report her dunno if that really helps or not it ruins the fun for the rest of us.

Hi, i have also come across a girl named Christine who would trade the small instead of the large. There are a lot of people doing this trick, and i have seen people fall victim to it. And keep reporting scammers, i believe once they have accumulated a certain number of reports, they will be investigated by YoVille support team. And they will take the appropriate measures. (ban, delete accounts)

Hi as leader of the yvpd i wanted to just add that were not part of the game staff but just a concerned group of Yovillian's. Our aim on yoville is not to just combat scammers but also to look out for how can i say "not nice ppl" when younger yoville users are concerned (if ya get my drift). We also keep gang peace, as your probably aware there are alot of gang's on yoville we also help to keep them from endless reporting war's.
As far as wanting to join our little band of scam busting mad heads come find me....

At the factory I just saw a guy who claimed that he has a VIP pass that gives him an extra 10,000 coins every work shift. There was a girl who was in awe. He said, he had two passes and she should meet him at his place... I was so stunned that I didn't catch his name before they left.

I know for a fact that you can clone objects, because i have done it! BUT I dont charge people a dime to show them, therefore I am not scamming people. AND I only tell people I get to know. I dont go around posting events or walk around announcing it to everyone!

I know that the doors come in pairs. I read it in the help section before I went to a sale to buy them once I took thenm home they dont work.Was I scamed is that possible?How would I have know that I have not seen it anywhere stated that they might not match up.I am just hoping that this is a glitch.Anyone know?
